Item #1: 7th Grade Art Project: Light on Water
The 7th Grade Art Project was inspired by an element our students so often immerse themselves in: Water. This piece captures the many facets of Water's movement, light, and color. It is a piece that is both dynamic and calming - perfectly reflecting the many ways our students enjoy being in and around Water. Whether at a sunrise swim, on a kayaking voyage, or a channel crossing, Water plays a significant role in the life of SBMS students and this beautiful piece of art is a fitting testament.
3 foot by 3 foot, wood panel with acrylic paint. Signed by every 7th grade student on the back.
Created by the SBMS Seventh Grade, with support from Amber O'Neill.
Item #2: Bottles by the Board
Strictly without duress, each member of the Board of Trustees has parted with one treasured bottle from their private wine collections, exclusively for your benefit. Featuring 12 bottles, this unique mixed case contains an impressive selection of Old World and New, reds, whites and champagne, with each bottle valued at over $100. This item is surely a wine lover’s dream.

Item #3: 6th Grade Art Project: Ceramic Dish Set
Comprising of an entirely one-of-a-kind 8-setting ceramic dish set, the 6th Grade Art Project was inspired by reflections from Nature. Students found artistic expression decorating the set in their interpretations of grassy meadows, expansive oceans, majestic mountains, dense forests, wild deserts, sunsets, and moonrise over a lake. This set of eight ceramic decorated pieces includes dinner plate, salad/dessert plate, bowl and one large platter. Each piece has been painted with watercolors and then hand-fired by Catherine Vallance, 6th grade parent.
Created by the SBMS Sixth Grade, with support from Catherine Vallance.

Item #10: 9th Grade Art Project: Prayer Flags
Placing their wishes on the wind, members of our 9th Grade Class traditionally select heartfelt messages and illustrate them symbolically in the colors of nature. It’s up to you to set them free, allowing the flags to flutter and dance, distributing their blessings to all corners of the world on ever-present breezes. The message of each flag eventually becomes a permanent part of the universe as the images fade from wind and sun.
